• The Law Conference “Dr. José Santiago Núñez Aristimuño” was originally created in 1989 under the sponsorship of Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, the Bar Association of the State of Monagas and the Instituto de Estudios Jurídicos “Dr. Rafael Naranjo Ostty”, to pay tribute to the productive and exemplary career within the Venezuelan legal field of Dr. José Santiago Núñez Aristimuño. The Conference is held every year in the city of Maturín, State of Monagas, having the participation of renowned lawyers and other professionals, both domestic and international.
